Maths Tutor Job Description

We are seeking passionate and reliable maths tutors to work with students in their neighbourhood. Our goal is to empower each individual student with Life-Changing Tutoring.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule lessons directly with parents/students, ensuring timely communication and mutual understanding.
  • Discuss progress with parents/students, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Formulate a plan and strategy for students based on their needs, leveraging your expertise to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Seek help from our team if and when you need it, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in students' lives and an encouraging approach, promoting a love of learning.
  • Reliability – we need tutors who will be committed to their students, prioritizing their success and well-being.
  • Be personable and easy to get along with, building strong relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
  • A strong command of the English language, facilitating effective communication and lesson delivery.
  • Achieved more than 80% in high school maths, demonstrating a solid foundation in mathematical concepts.
  • Some tutoring/coaching experience would be great, but not essential – we're willing to train the right candidate.
