Job Title: Language Trainer for Remote Aboriginal Communities

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced language trainer to join our team in delivering language, literacy, and numeracy training to adult learners in remote Aboriginal communities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of culturally sensitive teaching practices and be able to adapt their approach to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality language training programs tailored to the needs of adult learners
  • Work collaboratively with community members and other stakeholders to develop and implement program outcomes
  • Travel to remote communities as required, including unsealed roads
  • Manage own workload and prioritize tasks effectively

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field related to language training
  • Experience working in remote Aboriginal communities
  • Culturally sensitive delivery skills
  • Ability to travel on unsealed roads
  • Current National Police Clearance
