Key Role:

This is a full-time position as a Senior Software Engineer driving innovation aligned with our strategic plan. The role sits within the Digital Technology Delivery team, collaborating with a talented team to design and deliver user-centred web applications.

You will work closely with stakeholders across various functions to implement impactful digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and student experience.

About You:

  • You should have extensive experience in writing coherent code adhering to object-oriented programming principles, software design patterns and industry standards.
  • Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries and designing schemas are essential.
  • Ability to build reusable code and libraries for future use is crucial.
  • Implementing standardised and reusable APIs is a key requirement.
  • Providing level 2 and 3 application support to successfully restore service or resolve problems relating to IT Systems is a must.
  • Participating in cross-skilling initiatives to increase web developer resilience and flexibility is desirable.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience and management expertise; or postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training are required.
