Job Overview

We are seeking experienced event staff to join our dynamic team for the Ascot Racing Carnival.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile race day events, including the Melbourne Cup and Perth Cup. Our team provides premium security and event services for regional race clubs and other events throughout WA since 2005.

As part of our team, you will be responsible for ticket selling, entry control, and providing exceptional customer service to patrons and clients.

About the Role

You will report to the Security Management team or delegate and work with a professional group of people to provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee patron, vehicle, and equine ingress
  • Respond to customer enquiries and distribute tickets
  • Record attendance figures accurately
  • Handle cash efficiently
  • Provide high level of customer service
Requirements

The following skills are required:

  • Sound interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Effective, efficient, and reliable in various situations
Qualifications

Prior experience in ticket selling and entry control at events is preferred. Ability to manage crowds and provide excellent customer service is essential.

Perth Racing operates both Ascot and Belmont Park racecourses, staging over 90 race meetings per year, including the Perth Cup and The Pinnacles Series.
