Lead Visionary: Shape the Future

A unique opportunity for a strategic leader to drive the development of a public library service as the new CEO.

About the Role:
  • Empower an engaged workforce and drive organisational transition to a Not-for-Profit operating model.
  • Collaborate with a commercially-savvy Board to achieve organisational objectives.

The CEO will be responsible for supporting the Board and ensuring effective day-to-day operations. With experience in people-leadership and relationship management, the incoming CEO will fully embrace the organisation's values and position the library service as an employer of choice.

About Us:

The library service provides public library services to municipalities through ten branch libraries and two mobile libraries. The Service employs 175 staff and has 184,389 members.

  • Demonstrated experience in complex community service delivery sectors.
  • Calm and measured approach to leadership.
  • Natural ability to inspire a positive culture.
