About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Scientist to join our team as a key member in the development and manufacturing of an Australian-made product used globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, set up, conduct, analyze and write-up clinical studies related to products and research areas in infection control.
  • Review standards and guidelines to develop safety and efficacy requirements for product development.
  • Develop clinical testing protocols, study procedures and analysis.
  • Assist in identifying contract research organisations.
  • Develop reporting procedures and case report forms for data collection.
  • Coordinate study equipment and materials.
  • Perform data analysis including statistical analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate qualification in life sciences research discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical research experience with a focus on microbiology or biochemistry preferred.
  • Experience with designing and developing study procedures.
  • Desirable: experience in a commercial setting and knowledge of laboratory-based testing in micro and/or biochemistry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
