Are you a payroll professional seeking a flexible, rewarding role?

We're looking for a full-time Payroll Officer to support our Group Payroll function during an exciting period of systems transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the accurate processing of payroll across a multi-site environment
  • Lead payroll tasks using Employment Hero (and Unipay during transition phase)
  • Ensure compliance with awards, superannuation, and Fair Work obligations in collaboration with the People & Culture team
  • Reconcile payroll reports, STP submissions, leave balances, and employee records
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and payroll audits
  • Respond to payroll queries with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Contribute to the rollout, testing, and optimisation of Employment Hero

Requirements:

  • Proven payroll experience in a multi-site, award-based environment
  • Hands-on experience with Employment Hero (HRIS + Payroll) – highly regarded and preferred
  • Familiarity with Unipay and transitioning between platforms
  • Strong knowledge of NES, STP, superannuation, and payroll tax compliance
  • High attention to detail, discretion, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
