As a Sales Representative Drilling Tools at Epiroc Australia Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our high-quality rock drilling tools to various industries, including mining, construction, and quarrying.


\t\tAbout the Role
\t\t

  • \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tDevelop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tGain a thorough understanding of our rock drilling tools and their applications to effectively communicate benefits and features to clients.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tImplement and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets and expand market share.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tResearch on competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tPrepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tNegotiate terms and conditions of sales agreements to close deals and secure long-term contracts.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tProvide excellent post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tMaintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence through our CRM data base. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.

    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tWork closely with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with company goals and customer needs.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tCollaborate with colleagues to drive sales growth and expand market share.

\t\tRequirements
\t\t

To be successful in this role, you will need:


\t\t

  • \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tProven track record in sales, preferably in the rock drilling tools or related industry. Experience in B2B sales and a strong understanding of the mining, construction, or quarrying sectors is advantageous.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at all levels.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tFamiliarity with rock drilling tools, equipment, and industry standards. Technical aptitude to understand and explain complex products.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tRelevant certifications or training in sales or the mining industry is a plus.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tWillingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
    \t\t\t
    \t\t\t

  • \t\t\t\tCompetitive, self-motivated with a strong work ethic, willing to learn, and good communicator in a face-to-face situation.
