About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the development and delivery of an assurance strategy.

The role plays a key part in shaping how control testing is carried out, ensuring it aligns with the broader Three Lines of Defence model.

It's a hands-on leadership position that spans both business and IT General Controls, with a strong focus on consistency, automation, and meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a control assurance plan tailored to the organisation's operating environment.
  • Guide a team of assurance professionals and foster a high-performance culture.
  • Provide clear, actionable reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Engage with control owners and risk stewards to support them in planning next steps.

About You:

  • A strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and assurance frameworks.
  • Confidence in audit and control testing techniques and ability to work across both business and technology domains.
  • Curiosity about automation and data-driven approaches.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborative leadership skills with experience in internal or external audit.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in accounting or internal auditing.Familiarity with control self-assessment frameworks and automation tools.About Us
