This community pharmacy is strategically situated in an inner Brisbane suburb and is operated by an independent owner.
Position Overview:
As the Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of this community pharmacy. You will collaborate with another pharmacist and a small front-of-shop team, making this role ideal for an early-career pharmacist seeking mentorship in pharmacy management and operations. You will gain comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy business operations, including the development of key performance indicators and inventory control, among other responsibilities. The position is also suitable for those with prior experience in managing a small pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing pharmacy operations effectively.
- Handling light prescription trade.
- Administering vaccinations.
- Overseeing methadone services.
Work Schedule:
Flexible work arrangements available, with options to work between 30 to 38 hours per week, tailored to your preferences.
Qualifications:
- Current registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA.
- Ideally, candidates should possess over 2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist.
- Demonstrated ability to manage pharmacy operations.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate ranging from $50 to $60 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience. There is a genuine opportunity for partnership with the independent owner for interested candidates.
