About the Role

Gentrack is a leading provider of innovative cleantech solutions to utilities across the world. We are seeking a talented Junior Salesforce Developer to join our team of experts in Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce applications, with a focus on custom development and integration with third-party services.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers and developers to deliver high-quality products.
  • Perform unit testing and create automated tests to ensure the quality of our software.
  • Document functionality and technical solutions to ensure clarity and understanding.
  • Proactively identify ways to improve code and increase quality, staying up-to-date with new platform features and functionality.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in Salesforce platform development, with a strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, security measures, and governor limits.
  • Proficiency in Process Builder, Flow, Workflows, Approvals, Visualforce Pages, SOQL, SOSL, Data Loader, Lightning Component Framework, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps pipeline management.
  • In-depth knowledge of implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Java (optional).
  • Strong general web development experience, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • The ability to gather technical requirements, analyze business needs, and present solutions to key stakeholders effectively.
  • Salesforce Developer I Certification (desirable).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in product-focused teams.
  • Experience in a programming language prior to picking up Salesforce or have worked as a Salesforce Admin.
  • Utility experience.
