Engineer - Engine Specialist Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably qualified individual to join our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) as a full-time Engineer – Engine Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support CAMO staff with tasks related to engine repair and overhaul programs, ensuring optimal performance of aircraft engines.
  2. Liaise with external organisations involved in engine repair and overhaul of aircraft engines, fostering strong working relationships.
  3. Conduct reliability assessments of engines and engine components to identify areas for improvement, promoting efficient maintenance practices.
  4. Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the management team, contributing to the organisation's success.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field, providing a solid foundation for this role.
  • Relevant experience in the aviation industry is advantageous, offering valuable insights into engine operations.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, facilitating efficient administration and documentation.
Work Location:

This role is based in Sydney or Wagga Wagga, NSW, offering a convenient location for those living in these regions.

Remuneration:

The salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Conditions will be discussed with the successful applicant.
