Nurse Care Coordinator

The role of a Registered Nurse involves providing comprehensive patient care and coordinating the supervision of care delivered by junior staff and students.
Main Responsibilities:- Oversee total patient care
- Aware of all patients' needs, conditions, and progress
- Maintain contact with patients throughout their shift
- Evaluate patient needs and ensure they are met
- Involving patients in their own care and decision-making process
- Evaluate nursing care and ensure it is carried out and documented properly
- Consult with doctors to clarify medical treatment requests
- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Continuously develop and improve technical skills such as ECG interpretation, intravenous cannula insertion, and chest pain management
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure high-quality work and adhere to professional standards
To be successful, you will have registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and demonstrate ability to use initiative, reliability, and minimal supervision and guidance.
Requirements:- Registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
- At least 2 years recent clinical experience in Peri Operative anaesthetics
