We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Civil Infrastructure team's pursuit of key opportunities. This role is ideal for an experienced business development expert, project manager, design manager or principal engineer who enjoys the process of pursuits, work winning and business growth.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record in managing and delivering successful bids, with experience and knowledge of the bid life cycle. They will also have excellent communication and client relationship management skills, as well as excellent stakeholder management skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
This role offers a unique opportunity to drive business growth and diversification, including diversification of revenue and workstreams. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing the pipeline of opportunities for the Civil Infrastructure team, leading the pursuit of key opportunities, and developing successful bid strategies.
In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for providing oversight and support to the bid manager for all competitive bids, guiding and mentoring the bid team to achieve sector goals and ensure that bid consistency and quality requirements are exceeded.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial understanding of project delivery to inform tender pricing, and be able to prioritize and meet demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines, and deliver in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing demands.
