We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of the organisation.

You will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws and regulations, and excellent analytical and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and hold a relevant bachelor's degree or higher qualification. You will also possess the ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, as well as proficiently compute taxes and complete tax returns.

In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to formulate budgetary and accounting policies and systems, and advise on the selection and application of computer-based accounting systems. You will examine operating costs and income and expenditure, and maintain internal control systems.

You will report on the company's financial health and liquidity, recommending financial actions by analysing accounting options. The successful candidate will provide assurance in relation to compliance with accounting standards and other financial statutory requirements.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year, excluding superannuation. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for finance, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
