Job Summary
We are seeking Aboriginal Family Practitioners to join our team on a full-time term basis. As an Aboriginal Family Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing culturally appropriate and respectful practices when working with Aboriginal families.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading collaboration with families, community services, and agencies to deliver inclusive support.
- Supporting the protection of Aboriginal children by responding to abuse concerns and managing risks effectively.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to ensure the best possible outcomes for Aboriginal families.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in understanding the diversity of issues affecting Aboriginal people whilst applying culturally sensitive and inclusive practices.
- Proficiency in maintaining strong working relationships and partnerships with Aboriginal communities, government, and non-government agencies.
- Expertise in identifying potential risks and implementing effective action plans to manage and minimise those risks.
