The Department of Health is committed to delivering high-quality mental health services to children and families across Tasmania.

As an Early Intervention Therapist - Head to Health Kids, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions to clients with major and complex mental health problems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical services to children and families, including assessments, care planning and delivery of individual and group secondary level mental health interventions
  • Developing and supporting collaborative care partnerships with primary health, child health and parenting services
  • Collecting and reviewing client and service outcome data to improve client outcomes

A postgraduate qualification or higher in a relevant field and extensive experience in working with children and families is highly desirable.
