Ensuring the security and integrity of cloud-based systems is a top priority for our organization. As a Cloud Security Governance Lead, you will play a vital role in establishing and implementing effective security strategies to protect our digital assets.

About the Role

The Cloud Security Governance Lead will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of security frameworks, policies, and procedures across the cloud environment. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, as well as identifying and mitigating potential security risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on cloud security matters, providing strategic guidance and recommendations to ensure the security posture of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement security governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security risks, and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with established security frameworks and policies.
Requirements
  • 6+ years experience working in areas related to cloud security, including architecture, risk management, compliance, or incident response.
  • Experience with government security frameworks, policies, and standards (e.g. PSPF, ISM, DSPF, ASD Essential Eight).
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective security governance frameworks and policies.
