Agricultural Economist Lecturer

This is a key appointment for the University of Western Australia's School of Agriculture and Environment, seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our team as a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Agricultural Economics.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality teaching programs in Agricultural Economics, as well as undertaking independent and collaborative research in this field.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and delivering undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate teaching programs in Agricultural Economics
• Conducting independent and collaborative research in Agricultural Economics, with a focus on publishing high-quality papers in leading journals
• Supervising honours and graduate students' research projects
• Engaging with industry partners and stakeholders to promote research and education outcomes
• Contributing to governance and collegial life within the School, Department, and across the University

The appointee will be expected to demonstrate a strong research and publication track record, as well as the ability to lead public engagement activities that promote research and education outcomes.
