Job SummaryWe are seeking a disputes lawyer at Associate level (PQE 2-5) to join our busy and dynamic construction disputes practice in Melbourne. The successful candidate will have carriage of matters, with experience and confidence to engage with clients, be a team player, and work with diligent senior lawyers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple matters and competing deadlines
- Provide guidance, leadership, and mentoring to junior members in the team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Contribute to the development of the team's expertise and knowledge
- Minimum 2-5 years PQE
- Experience in construction disputes
- Good advocacy skills
- Commercial approach to all matters
- Superior drafting ability and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Resilience and a commitment to excellence
