Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Security Systems Technician to join our team at SECUREcorp. As a key member of our Electronics Division, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems, including access control, alarm, and CCTV systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electronic security systems, including access control, alarm, and CCTV systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on security systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Modify or update system configurations as required to meet customer needs.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repairs and technical support requests.
  • Provide high-level support to stakeholders, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and Operations team to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements in electronic security.
Requirements
  • Certification in electronics, security systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in installing and servicing electronic security systems.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, wiring, and schematic diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various client sites.
  • Full-time, permanent work rights in Australia.
  • Victorian Security Registration.
  • Open Cabling Registration.
  • EWP License (desired).
  • Red/White Card.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in service and maintenance of electronic security systems.
  • Proven technical experience with access and security systems such as Tecom, Integriti, Concept, Videofied, AJAX.
  • Proven technical experience with CCTV systems such as Milestone, NX Witness, March Networks, Axis.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player and proactive attitude.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
