About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Integrated Primary Mental Health Care program in the Goldfields region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of therapeutic interventions, supporting staff in case management and triage processes, and identifying any staff or client unmet needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the designated program/s undertake good quality client intake, screening, assessment, and evaluation.
  • Ensure service delivery and therapeutic interventions of the designated program/s are aligned with the programs' contractual requirements, Therapeutic Framework and evidence-based practice.
  • Coordinate Intake, Screening and Assessments of program prospective clients from entry (referral) to exit, in consultation with the Executive Manager (EM) and Program Manager (PM), where appropriate.
  • Adhere to, and ensure team members are compliant with, the processes outlined in the agency flowcharts and Therapeutic Framework.
  • Undertake documentation audits on a quarterly basis.
  • Assist the EM to review, modify and change program structures and procedures to ensure high quality service delivery and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Liaise with funding bodies/contract managers as required.
  • Provide monthly management reports to the PM.
  • Facilitate monthly team meetings within allocated program areas.
  • Facilitate monthly group supervision with each program team or cluster of programs.
  • Undertake three monthly management supervision with team members.
  • Ensure staff concerns (related to client work) are addressed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Recognised Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Mental Health, Counselling, Childhood development and/or Family Studies and related disciplines or equivalent.
  • Provisional or Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Professional registered with AHPRA.
  • Proven training and clinical supervision ability.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years Management experience.
  • Understanding of an outreach model and working remotely when required.
  • Specialist knowledge of community services and service delivery gained through experience, education, or training.
  • Experience in case management, report writing, tender writing and coordination of client services.
  • Excellent communication and team building skills.
  • The demonstrated ability to work under and follow policies and procedures.
  • Possession of a current 'C' (previously 'A') class driver's license and vehicle.
  • Possession/ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.
  • Possession/ability to obtain a Working With Children Check.
