Join Our Team as a Practice Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Practice Nurse to join our team at Specialist Medical Services Group. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical services.

About the Role

The successful applicant will have a current AHPRA registration and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for undertaking a variety of practice administrative and nursing tasks, including triaging patients, understanding acute care needs, and providing immunizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our medical services
  • Undertake practice administrative and nursing tasks, including triaging patients and providing immunizations
  • Work collaboratively with our senior RNs to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Participate in ongoing skills improvement and professional growth and development
Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as EEN or RN
  • Vaccination knowledge and ability to deliver immunizations
  • Excellent communication skills and high level of computer literacy
  • Able to work at our different clinic locations as required
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent/Temporary Resident without working hours restrictions
Preferred Criteria
  • Previous experience in a general practice setting
  • Previous experience in preparation for Accreditation standards
  • Experience in Chronic diseases management
  • Wound management experience
  • Knowledge of Best Practice software
