Job Title: Dedicated Support AssistantAbout the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients and participants. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care services in a home-based setting.

The role involves working with a mobile model, including travel reimbursement and ongoing training opportunities. You will have the chance to work with clients who require assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, toileting, and mobility.

You will also be responsible for accompanying clients to social events, appointments, and activities, which may involve using your own vehicle. Household tasks, medication assistance, and light administrative duties are also part of the role.

Requirements
  • Possess a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of clients/participants.
  • Hold professional or lived experience in the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors.
  • Have experience with complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (desirable).
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus, and flexibility to adapt to individual needs.
  • Show resilience and compassion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Hold relevant qualifications in Disability, Aged Care, or related fields (preferred).
  • Be current in First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Have a National Police check and a valid Victorian Drivers Licence.
  • Have the right to work in Australia and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
