Warehouse Logistics Associate

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Logistics Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of freight.

  • Loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, containers, and rail wagons will be your responsibility.
  • You will also sort and check freight against customer delivery paperwork.
  • Restraint loads as per the National Load Restraint Guide is essential for this role.
  • Palletising and packing loads, handling general and non-standard freight, and operating a counterbalance forklift are other duties you will undertake.
  • Heavy lifting and dunnage duties, as well as general cleaning tasks, are also part of this role.
  • You will be responsible for securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements.
  • Performing vehicle pre-start checks and reporting all damage freight and shortages via the exception reporting process are also important tasks.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current LF High Risk Work license is mandatory.
  • Experience operating a forklift in a transit warehouse is necessary.
  • Knowledge and experience with load restraint procedures are also required.
  • Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility is a must.
