Job Title: Disability Support Worker


About the Role:


We are seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team at Yooralla. As a Disability Support Worker, you will work closely with adults with disability in Residential Accommodation settings, providing individualised support to help them achieve their goals.


Key Responsibilities:




  1. Support clients with daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility.
  2. Implement personalised plans to address clients' unique needs and goals.
  3. Provide support with shopping, appointments, and events.
  4. Work closely with clients and their families to ensure their needs are met and their goals are achieved.


Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:




  1. A positive approach, initiative, and self-motivation.
  2. Effective communication skills and good English literacy.
  3. The ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team.
  4. Australian Driver Licence.
  5. The right to work in Australia.
  6. The ability to obtain a First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate.


National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening:


All applicants must undergo NDIS Worker Screening as a condition of employment.
