About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering timely therapeutic services to our participants. You will have expertise in assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
- Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- A pro-active attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
- Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
