About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Uniting. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and companionship to older people living in their own homes, empowering their independence and improving their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
  • Assist clients with household tasks, such as housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
  • Transport clients to appointments and social events, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in providing client-centered care, preferably in a home care or aged care setting.
  • Current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality care.
