About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the position of Venue Manager. As the new leader, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our iconic venue in Fremantle. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, you will be responsible for managing a busy team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a dedicated team to deliver top-tier service and hospitality.
  • Oversee venue operations including food and beverage service, staffing, and building your core team by coaching and mentoring.
  • Manage daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring the venue runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate live music events, liaising with artists, and ensuring the best possible experience for guests.
  • Monitor inventory levels, order stock, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Foster a vibrant, inclusive environment that reflects the community spirit of Fremantle.
  • Handle customer feedback, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving any issues professionally.
  • Develop and implement promotions and events to drive customer engagement.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should have previous experience as a Venue Manager or in a similar hospitality leadership position. You must also possess a love for live music, late nights, and amazing food while creating memorable experiences.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer service.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage a busy venue.
  • Ability to lead by example, inspire a team, and foster a positive work culture.
  • A good understanding of financials, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
