Re-Engagement Coordinator

The role of a Re-Engagement Coordinator is critical in the Northern Territory education system. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage students who are disengaged from schooling.

This involves coordinating services to support students in achieving their educational goals, working closely with schools, community organizations, and other government agencies to ensure a comprehensive approach to student engagement.

  • Primary Objective: To provide coordination and support to students who are disengaged from schooling, aiming to re-engage them into education, training or an eligible option.

Requirements:

  • Essential Requirements:
  • Relevant experience working with disengaged students and their families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Desirable Requirements:

  • Knowledge of the Northern Territory education system
  • Experience working in a similar role or with similar client groups
