We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team at Australian Concrete Constructions Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will have relevant certifications or trade qualifications in carpentry or formwork, with at least 2-3 years' proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials required and the dimensions of the structures to be built.
  • Construct, erect, install, and repair formwork structures for concrete foundations, columns, beams, and walls.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
  • Evaluate compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in carpentry or formwork.
  • At least 2-3 years' proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
