We are seeking a highly skilled Testing and Evaluation Lead to join our client's team on a contract. This role involves leading the planning, development, and execution of Commonwealth Test & Evaluation activities for Mission Systems and Support Systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining testing and evaluation practices and procedures in accordance with departmental, regulatory, and legislated requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the JORN T&E program to ensure capabilities meet functional and performance requirements.
  • Conduct T&E planning, contributing to an integrated schedule of JORN Systems Team activities across the T&E lifecycle.
  • Synchronise Commonwealth T&E activities with Contractor T&E activities to maximise efficiency and optimise data use.
  • Lead Engineering Support Contractor activities relating to the Commonwealth T&E program, including development of TSI's.
  • Undertake verification, validation, and testing activities to achieve agreed priorities and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Hardware Engineering-Level 3
  • Software Engineering-Level 3
  • Systems Engineering and Integration-Level 3
  • Test and Evaluation-Level 3
  • Superior understanding of Defence T&E Policies
  • Bachelor Degree-Engineering
  • Must meet ITAR compliance requirements
  • Eligibility for Chartered Status (CPEng, NER, Engineer IntPE (Aus)) Engineers
  • N1 Clearance essential
