Lead Venue Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Lead Venue Manager. This role offers the chance to take on new challenges, grow your career, and make a real impact on our business.
This is a full-time position based in Gladstone. As a Lead Venue Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple venues across our business, focusing on developing and implementing revenue-generating strategies, identifying and addressing operational improvements, establishing effective policies, and leading a high-performing team through strong, inspiring leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic plans that drive venue success.
- Manage day-to-day operations, financial performance, and overall presentation of all venues.
- Manage financial forecasting, budgeting, and cost control to ensure profitability.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement throughout all venues and implement effective solutions.
- Oversee workforce planning, including rostering, recruitment, and staffing requirements.
- Inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing team culture focused on excellence and accountability.
- Evaluate and maintain compliance with all licensing obligations and associated industry legislation.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in multi-venue, food and beverage senior management, including gaming.
- Current RSA and Gaming Licence accreditation.
- Proven experience in building and growing gaming and hospitality venues to reach their full potential.
- Ability to generate and implement revenue-building ideas throughout the venues.
- Strong staff management experience, with the ability to lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Hospitality/Business Management (not essential but viewed favourably).
