Psychiatric Nurse Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires post-registration experience to work in an acute psychiatric care setting. The position involves assessing and developing individualized care plans for patients with severe mental illness.
- Risk assessment, mental state assessment, and knowledge of acute psychiatry nursing care are essential skills required for this role.
- The ideal candidate will have current unrestricted registration with AHPRA as a Nurse Division 1 or 3 and postgraduate qualifications in nursing or working towards it.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced acute inpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessing patient needs and developing comprehensive care plans.
- Providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
