About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Reporting Specialist to join our Client Reporting team in Australia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting to Institutional and Retail Clients, Consultants, and Research Houses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate and manage the timeliness and accuracy of data delivery across internal reporting platforms.
  • Generate, compile, and oversee the production of investment reporting for both institutional and retail clients using in-house and external systems.
  • Work closely with global IT, Operational Change groups, and the Client Relationship Team to enhance reporting systems and address client inquiries effectively.
  • Evaluate client reporting requirements and solicit business partner insights to improve the client reporting experience.
  • Identify efficiencies and convert recurring manual reporting tasks to automated processes.
  • Assist with departmental projects, system improvements, and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in client reporting or a similar role within financial services.
  • Strong technical skills, including VBA, Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Detailed understanding of financial instruments and the major investment markets, with a focus on both the Australian and global financial services marketplace.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Highly articulate with a strong ability to build relationships across investment and distribution teams.

  • Strong interpersonal, client experience, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects.
  • Curiosity and a desire to learn and apply new concepts and systems to daily work.
  • Knowledge of database structure and data mapping
