Job Title: Technical Training Lead

Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Training Lead to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. As a key member of our Technical Training team, you will be responsible for leading the common delivery methods and principles of Technical Training across Australia and New Zealand. This role involves supervising the delivery of Curriculum, New Model Training (NMT), and Performance Improvement delivery activities across both markets.

You will oversee the implementation of Facilities, Equipment, and Trainer requirements to support training delivery based on the Ford Global Technical Training Operating Guide (TTOG). Additionally, you will review technical training materials and market-relevant adjustments to retain high-quality technical training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the common delivery methods and principles of Technical Training across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Supervise the delivery of Curriculum, New Model Training (NMT), and Performance Improvement delivery activities across both markets.
  • Oversee the implementation of Facilities, Equipment, and Trainer requirements to support training delivery based on the Ford Global Technical Training Operating Guide (TTOG).
  • Review technical training materials and market-relevant adjustments to retain high-quality technical training.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Education and Training or previous experience/roles in the Technical Training arena.
  • Above-average proficiency with MS Office products.
  • Proficiency/knowledge of training plans, development practices, and delivery techniques, as well as service in automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage people and teams.
  • Full Australian Driver's License.
