Fire Systems Mechanical Technician

We are seeking an experienced Fire Systems Mechanical Technician to join our team at C Psystems. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance work as required to the Infrastructure Services team across the entire mine site operations and camp facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of fire sprinkler, hydrant systems, and pump sets.
- Diagnose and fault-find issues with fire protection systems.
- Oversee contractor groups on modular and major plant shutdowns.
- Replace fire pipework and/or sprinklers as required.
- Utilize computer-based maintenance systems to raise notifications, close out work orders, and confirm time and cause codes.
- Australian Recognised Certificate II in Fire Protection.
- 2 years of relevant experience, preferably as a trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter or Plumber.
- Experience with all aspects of fixed plant maintenance, including screens, conveyors, sizers, scrubbers, crushers, balance machines, and chutes.
- Experience with computer-based maintenance systems, preferably SAP.
- Desirable skills include EWP, working at heights, Rigging, Forklift, and confined space training.
