Job Opportunity

We are seeking a catering assistant to provide efficient and high-quality support services within our home.

The successful candidate will support our clinical and care teams in delivering nutritious meals and refreshments to residents while ensuring the highest food safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities include setting up dining areas, washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness and organisation of food preparation areas, assisting with meal preparation and monitoring food safety requirements.

Required skills and qualifications include previous experience in providing catering assistance or hospitality, knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety, good communication skills and digital literacy.

Responsibilities
  • Setup dining areas ready for each meal period.
  • Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of food preparation areas.
  • Assist with meal preparation when required.
  • Monitor and record food safety requirements.
What You Will Bring To The Role
  • Previous experience in providing catering assistance or hospitality is desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Digital literacy.
