Primary Care Physician Opportunity in Tropical North Queensland

HealthcareLink is seeking an unrestricted VR GP to deliver high-quality healthcare to the local community in a progressive primary health care setting.
About the OpportunityOur client, a fully equipped and accredited multidisciplinary clinic based in the Bentley Park area near Cairns, requires a vocationally registered general practitioner to join their team. The successful candidate will replace one of their doctors who has moved to the public sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe primary care physician will be responsible for:
- Providing comprehensive general practice care to patients, including chronic disease management, women and children's services, indigenous health, and other clinical services.
- Working in a welcoming and inclusive environment with modern facilities, treatment rooms, and nursing stations.
To be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must:
- Hold MBBS or equivalent qualifications.
- Have minimum AHPRA GENERAL /SPECIALIST registration.
- Be FRACGP qualified.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
- Hold Professional Indemnity Insurance.
