Electrical Design Career Opportunity

Take your career to the next level as an Electrical Designer in our Telecommunications division. In this role, you will assist in the development of detailed designs, produce cost estimates of materials and labour, collaborate with the construction team during project execution, and update database and as-built drawings.

This is a permanent hybrid opportunity based in Stapylton.

About This Role

We are seeking candidates with desirable skills and qualifications, including:

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Engineer or Designer
  • Technical expertise in Low Voltage and DC power systems
  • Proficiency in bill of quantities preparation
  • Interpretation of CAD drawings
  • Competency in MS Office, especially with MS Excel for preparing estimates and costs
  • Desirable skills include proficiency in MS Access, Power Automation, and Power Apps
  • A current manual driver's licence
  • Ability to work away from home when required
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, OH&S legislation/guidelines, and environmental licensing requirements
Preferred Skills
  • Development of solar and battery designs for commercial markets
  • Proficient knowledge of the solar industry and related regulations
  • Basic understanding of LV/HV AC electrical systems
