We're looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our Product Engineering Team, focusing on delivering exceptional Project Experiences for our customers. This high-impact role requires building a powerful product while providing simplicity and ease of use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You'll collaborate closely with our engineering manager and other engineers to evolve our AI feature set and drive innovation.
  • Driving AI enablement, empowering others to build and improve AI features across the product teams and organization.
  • R&D: Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends to influence the product roadmap.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, optimizing team practices through code review, pair programming, and more.
  • Foster a culture of pragmatism, collaborating to establish detailed guidelines and standards for product development processes.

About You:

  • Extensive experience in building ML products, with hands-on exposure to designing, developing, and researching Machine Learning systems – especially Large Language Models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
  • Performance evaluation and improvements: Ability to dig deep into data and ML pipelines to understand, evaluate, and enhance results.
  • Pragmatic and flexible approach, comfortable with ambiguity and resourceful in solving problems.
  • A keen eye for quality, delivering top-notch work that meets high standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey thoughts, opinions, and feelings effectively within the product team.

Nice to Have:

  • Search engines & NLP expertise: Strong background in search engines, information retrieval, and natural language processing.
  • Real-time systems: Practical knowledge in productionizing chatbots or real-time LLM systems.
  • Cost optimization: Experience in optimizing costs for model deployment and maintenance.
  • Recommendation systems: Experience in building and optimizing recommendation systems, including search result ranking and custom homepages.
