Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cleansing Services Officer to join our team at Parramatta City Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the cleanliness and appearance of our public domain, promoting Parramatta as Australia's next great city.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a program of works to ensure effective and efficient delivery of cleansing services.
  • Undertake a variety of tasks to ensure the long-term management, condition, and usability of assets and facilities under our care.
  • Conduct inspections of the public domain and assets to minimize Council's exposure to liability.

Requirements:

  • Current NSW 'C' Class Driver's License
  • White Card
  • Traffic Control Ticket (TCR and IMP), or ability and willingness to obtain prior to confirmation of employment
  • Chemical Application Chem Use AQF3, or ability and willingness to obtain prior to confirmation of employment
  • Previous experience working in an operational role
  • Capacity to undertake the physical requirements of the role
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
