About This Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Western Sydney. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating cycle counts, producing various reports, negotiating rates, purchasing all office supplies and equipment, and effectively managing purchase orders to meet delivery timeframes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or concerns to the Operations Manager.
  2. Cycle Counting: Coordinate regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory records.
  3. Reporting: Provide regular reports to the Operations Manager on inventory levels and other relevant information.
  4. Negotiation: Negotiate rates with suppliers to secure the best possible deals for the company.
  5. Purchasing: Purchase all office supplies and equipment as needed.
  6. Purchase Order Management: Effectively manage purchase orders to meet delivery timeframes.

Requirements:

  • Must have ERP experience
  • Inventory experience, goods movement
  • Procurement experience
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships
  • Effectively work in a fast-paced environment, in a standalone role
