Radiology Nurse

Apex Radiology, a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services in Western Australia, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join their team at the Peel Health Campus in Mandurah.

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support to our radiologists. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Provide exceptional patient care and service to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures.
• Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to Workplace Health and Safety practices.
• Assist medical professionals in all aspects of patient care, including admission, preparation, and post-procedure care.
• Perform tasks such as IV cannulation, cardiac stress testing, and high-end CT procedures.
• Develop and maintain sound clinical knowledge and experience in palliative care.

• Current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• IV cannulation qualification.
• Advanced Life Support qualification preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience in surgical or radiology settings is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in emergency situations and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with diverse medical professionals.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
