Our Medical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled General Practitioner to lead our medical team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional healthcare in our community.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong clinical management skills, who can provide high-quality patient care and facilitate the development of junior doctors.

  • Clinical Management: You will be responsible for providing clinical management of patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care.
  • Medical Education: You will have the opportunity to facilitate the delivery of medical education and training to junior doctors.

In this role, you will work closely with our experienced nursing staff to provide comprehensive care to patients. You will also have the opportunity to participate in research and publications relevant to general practice, and hold a conjoint academic appointment with a university.

The Location

We are based in a sub-regional community located on the Murray River, with a catchment area of 35,000 people. Our community offers great schooling opportunities and a relaxed lifestyle, with Melbourne only a 3.5 hour drive away.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Valid VR General Practitioner registration
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Health Professional Education and Training desirable
