About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Wood, a global leader in the minerals and metals industry. As an Instrumentation & Control Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients across the globe, from conceptual studies to EPCM delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement electrical and instrumentation systems for wet and dry plant processing facilities
- Develop and maintain plant PCS architecture and automation configurations
- Collaborate with the engineering team and project delivery group to ensure effective project execution
- Identify and mitigate safety-based risks during work package delivery
- Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and industry-standard engineering programs
- Participate in problem-solving and proactive identification of safety-based risks
- Support the development and implementation of HSE standards and regulatory compliance
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's or Tertiary degree in Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls from a recognized institute, with prior engineering design experience in the resources sector. You will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and agile environment.
