Mechanical Reliability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our team at Visy Paper Mill 4 in Campbellfield VIC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for driving the implementation of engineering best practices to increase overall plant efficiency.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading excellence in plant condition monitoring through participation/auditing of mechanical rounds completion and quality.
- Developing proactive and preventative maintenance initiatives through implementation of engineering analysis of plant performance.
- Investigating failures using Root Cause Analysis techniques, designing and implementing corrective and preventive solutions to eliminate the cause or reduce the likelihood of failure.
- Facilitating JSEA and risk assessments with internal staff and external contractors.
- Understanding and adhering to all Visy management systems, policies, and procedures, and other regulatory body requirements.
What You Will Bring to the Team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical) with minimum 3 years postgraduate experience.
- Experience in a 24/7 heavy manufacturing or processing environment.
- Strong analytical skills, a high level of initiative, and the ability to work autonomously.
- A continuous improvement mindset, proactive problem-solving with a solution-focused approach.
- CMMS experience.
- Flexibility for on-call (rostered).
