Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Interpret picking slips to locate stock and pick to fulfill customer orders with 100% accuracy.
  • Unload and load vehicles, using forklifts, lifting aids, or manual handling, and move goods in and out of the warehouse.
  • Determine the safe method and equipment to handle goods, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Perform stock takes and cycle counts, maintaining 100% accuracy and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Enter and update information in our computer system, ensuring accurate and timely data entry.
  • Follow operational procedures at all times, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Conduct daily safety checks, reporting any hazards or incidents without delay.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar position, with a valid reach forklift license and experience handling dangerous goods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant training or certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
