Distribution Centre Skills Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team at a Distribution Centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Innovative Training Delivery: Create and deliver engaging orientation and induction programs that meet the needs of our team members.
- Capability Enhancement: Support distribution centre labour capability through comprehensive training and assessments that ensure our standards and capabilities are consistently elevated.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Uplift individual and collective performance against business performance requirements by providing guidance and realignment to ensure adherence to standards.
- Skill Development: Proactively manage skill gaps and training needs in collaboration with the DC Leadership and the Learning Manager.
- Training Coordination: Coordinate training schedule and attendance to ensure that our team members receive the training they need to excel in their roles.
We are looking for an energetic and vibrant individual who can bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude to inspire and motivate the team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a DC / Warehouse in a high volume, multi-brand environment.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Proven ability to effectively train and develop internal staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and excel in their roles.
- Understanding of CoR – Current Legislation.
- Demonstrated understanding of hazard identification / incident management and investigation.
Nice to have but not required:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Exposure to a Manufacturing Excellence or Six Sigma (Statistical Process Control) environment.
