Heavy Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for working on heavy diesel equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy diesel equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy diesel equipment
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Australian Permanent Residency/Citizenship or full work rights
  • Australian Recognised Heavy Mobile Plant Qualification
  • Valid Australian Driver's licence - Minimum C Class or HR (willing to upgrade)
  • Experience working with OEM Equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi)
  • High Risk Work Licence - WP, LFAbility to complete a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening
